Facilities Supervisor - Morgan Hill

Position Summary – This position will oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all the physical Region office buildings. This includes managing any Facility Clerks, handling all facility requests, HVAC scheduling, preventive maintenance, and building repairs. This position is the primary employee contact point for day to day building related issues. Responsible for interfacing with department personnel and resolving issues related to furniture, fixtures and equipment issues while adhering to company standards. The position will also be required to manage small facility related projects. The position will oversee all safety and security programs at all offices. The position will be the BRIMS coordinator for the region. The position will manage and maintain all region storage facilities.
 
Duties & Responsibilities -


Plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises and participates in the daily completion of facility requests including keys, office supplies, toner replacement, stocking of break areas, copy rooms and restrooms, minor health and safety issues.  30%

Plans, schedules and monitors work of outside contractors for custodial, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, painting, plumbing and minor repairs. 10%

Schedules and monitors work for vending machine and copier, fax and printer repair.  10%

Manage building maintenance including HVAC, minor wall repairs, painting and plumbing. 10%

Reconfigures or relocates office systems (cubes) and office furniture10%

Oversee Safety, First Responder and Rideshare programs  10%

Coordinate BRIMS  10%

Manage and maintain storage facilities  10%

Decision-Making - This position would need to make non-critical, daily decisions to accommodate requests weighing individual need against the health, safety and standards of the company.
 

Supervision Received -Light supervision, the job requires a self-starter with a manager available for questions

Minimum Qualifications Required -
 
High School Diploma
1-2 years experience as an office administrator or customer service manager in a hospitality or large facility environment
Intermediate skill level in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must be able to make sound judgments in interactions with people and in decision making
Ability to interact with a diverse population
Ability to effectively supervise staff
Lift 75 Lbs.
 
Preferred Qualifications –
 
Some College preferred
Facility or building maintenance related work experience
Project management skills
OSHA certification
Handyman skills
