General Manager

Primarily responsible for sales with oversight responsibility for the operations of an executive suites center.  This includes the marketing, pipeline development, fiscal accountability (collections), operations, profitability, appearance and success of the center.  Accountable for achieving and maintaining center sales goals and profitable occupancy rates to meet marketing and financial objectives.  Responsible for retention, expansion and renewal of current client contracts.  Manages and delivers all client services, ensuring rapid response and high satisfaction levels.  Responsible for the management and development of center team.The General Manager report to the Area Director, Team Leader and/or Regional Vice President

 

Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties

? Managing the entire sales cycle from lead/enquiry development, sales tours, marketing all product lines, negotiating and closing deals with prospective clients.

? Network with local market brokerage firms to create relationship that creates inquiry leads to fill center.

? Network with existing clients to develop new business leads, develop strong relationships and enhance revenue stream.

? Interfaces with clients in order to provide excellent customer service in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

? Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and appearance of the center, including standard operations, organization, orderliness, cleanliness and maintenance.

? Maintains accuracy and timeliness of all information in company databases.

? Responsible for the overall development of the team, through hiring, on the job training and coaching, team meetings, and supervision of staff, including performance reviews that design a career path for each staff member. Financial Duties

? Overall fiscal responsibility for achieving business plan goals and budgeted objectives for the business center.

? Collaborates with corporate team members in setting sales, marketing, and profitability goals for the center.  Ensures team members meet and maintain those goals.

? Ensure that invoices and bills are passed onto Accounting & Billing Departments in a timely manner.

? Audits month-end telecommunications billing to ensure all revenue is captured.

? Ensures compliance with sales guidance, accounting systems, processes and 

  procedures.

? In conjunction with the Billing Department, responsible for enforcing credit and collections policies, making daily deposits, accounts payable, and security deposit refunds.

 

 

 

Education and Hiring Criteria

? Minimum 5+ years of management experience, preferably as a small business owner, boutique hotel/hospitality/restaurant, facilities management, real estate or similar sales focused organization

? Proven customer service and sales experience in a service related business to business environment

? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 and IT/Telecoms conversant

? Demonstrated ability to work with financials, including P&L reports, receivables, payables forward order book and yield management

? Four year degree or higher preferred; High school diploma requirement
