Turnback Manager

Responsibilities:     Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC, formerly Cendant Car Rental Group, is searching for a dedicated Turnback Manager to work at our Santa Ana, California location.
 
This Manager position will oversee the Turnback function for our Southern California Operations and work with all of our Avis and Budget vehicles. This position impacts the success of our company by ensuring customer and employee satisfaction, effective fleet utilization and incremental revenue generation.  Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:  Interpreting, implementing, and administering all vehicle manufacturers’ turnback programs and managing costs associated with various manufacturers’ programs.  Also, utilize reporting and documentation to monitor all turnback program eligible vehicles and prepare various reports for management.  Interact and negotiate with various vehicle manufacturers and provide feedback to operation managers.  In addition, partner with Damage Manager during manufacturer inspections/appraisals and oversee all repairs on vehicles that have been rejected by auction representatives.  Assist in new car delivery and disposal process and provide additional assistance with fleet vehicles when needed and work with other managers to improve the process and quality of vehicle turn-backs and overall process.  Lastly, hire and manage all turn back staff and direct all training within the department. 

Qualifications:
 
? High School Degree plus 2 years of college OR 2 years of work experience OR 2 years of training.
? One year of supervisory management experience.
 
The successful candidate must be willing to and/or possess the following:
 
? Three or more years of supervisory management experience in a service oriented field.
? Effective supervisory, communication, organizational, and creative problem solving skills.
? Ability to effectively interact with customers and the public.
? Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
? Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
? Some local travel required.
