Job Title: Web Administrator


SUMMARY: Under the guidance of Senior Web Master and Application and Systems Development Operational Manager; designs develops, organizes, secures, and manages Web sites (Intranet, Internet and Extranet) by performing the duties listed below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in designing and developing web pages which include Internet, Intranet, and Extranet. Assist in the analysis and design for additions, changes and removal of web content and pages. Web design and development include (custom) web applications, add-ons, enhancements, interfaces, reporting, etc.

Provides assistance in research and proposed designs for Web enablement of applications, standards for programming (code control, version, etc), and application integrity and security.

Ensures proper and updated systems and web documentation for Internet, Intranet, and extranet web pages and application (i.e., version control, data dictionary, logical and physical flow chart).

Assist with the development and deployment of IT policy and procedures and change management. Utilizes web environment production and testing environment appropriately.

Assist with software management, version control and documentation, development and monitoring web pages metrics and performance factors, and assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.

Provides technical support and participates in employee Web site training.
Collaborates with external vendors on special Web site events, promotions, marketing campaigns, or specific design projects.

Coordinates with Information Services and other internal divisions to create internal Web sites running on proprietary intranets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), A.S. or equivalent in Computer Science or Electronics.
Four year degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred.
2-3 years of professional experience with web design and application development. Other Internet related technologies such as:
? Windows NT/2000
? Microsoft lIS and Microsoft Interdev
? Microsoft Studio 6.0 and Microsoft Studio.NET
? ASP, HTML, VBScripit, JavaScript, XML/XSL
? Visual Source Safe
? Object Modeling / User Interface Standards

Must have a solid working knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Outlook (i.e., e-mail, calendar, notes), Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project Management, and Power Point.
