This position will be responsible to partner with our California businesses and provide support and counsel in the functional areas of human resources and change management.? This person will report to the VP of California people and Leadership in our Anaheim headquarters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with regional Senior Management to assess business goals, identify gaps and align the people strategy. Work with Branch Managers to improve employee engagement and retention. Assist in developing a self-sufficient workforce. Consult with businesses on implementing a customer service culture; champion consistent cultural standards and norms; design cultural interventions to support our mission. Consult with all departments on regional recruitment and selection processes and best practices.?????? Conduct new employee orientation and ensure successful on-boarding. Coordinate the regional rollout of all benefits and compensation implementations, new corporate programs and process changes. Perform day to day employee relation issues and coach managers in performance management practices. Provide and advise workforce relative to changes regarding corporate and regional human resource policies. Conduct employee-exit interviews, evaluate significant issues and establish possible trends.? Recommend next steps as needed. Stay abreast of any new development and learning opportunities. Identify the need for and collect information to better understand issues, problems and opportunities.?

Required Skills:
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATRIBUTES REQUIRED:
Ability to analyze current issues, problems and opportunities and choose effective course of action accordingly. Effective written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Experience with acquisition related change or major change initiatives. Thorough knowledge of Federal and California Sate employment laws and labor regulations. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally. Ability to travel within central and southern California as necessary. Ability to influence and build business relationships. ?ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s Degree in human resources, Business or related field with a minimum 5 years field or corporate human resources experience.?
