HR Recruiter/Employee Relations

Description

Ensure employee relations activities are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Identify and analyze employee relations issues, conduct investigations, resolve problems and counsel employees.

Advise employees on disciplinary actions, disputes, employment status, and performance problems.

Respond to employee complaints, managements concerns, and inquires regarding personnel policies and procedures.

Administer personnel functions such as unemployment insurance, workers compensation, labor hearings and related activities.

Conduct termination interviews. Recruit applicants, screen resumes, and maintain application files of external applicants.

Conduct initial interviews of selected candidates to ensure only qualified candidates are referred for department level interviewing.

Coordinate internal job posting and transfer programs.

Notify applicants of acceptance or rejection and make additional arrangements as required.

Administer new hire procedures, including checking references, developing a compensation package, and extending offers to selected candidates.

Conduct management and employee training sessions.

Keep informed on developments in related areas such as wages and salaries, employee benefits, recruitment, and employee discrimination.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Requirements

4-5 years of human resources experience with strong emphasis in recruitment for large organization.

Ability to work with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
