Add your ?personnel? touch to,b>Choice Hotels International, a leading worldwide franchiser of Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn, Clarion and other noted hotel brands. We seek a Manager, Human Resources to provide professional human resources support to Choice associates in our Phoenix, AZ locations.

With your strong communication and leadership skills, you will be responsible for managing employee relations, policy/procedure resolutions, training, program administration, and identifying potential problems in assigned client group(s). You will develop and maintain successful relationships with client groups, partnering with them to help them meet their organizational goals.

Responsibilities include:

? Serve as counselor and confidante to employees for all HR concerns, coaching and counseling in employee relations and concerns

? Assist in communicating HR policies, procedures, programs and activities

? Identify and define potential employee issues and develop pro-active solutions

? Ensure consistent, equity in compensation, career development, and oversight to other associate related situations

? As a partner with Educational Services, create and deliver HR training

? Work closely with recruiting to create plans to source, attract, and retain top talent

? Participate in developing HR strategies as needed


This position requires:

? Bachelor?s degree in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent experience

? 4+ years experience, PHR certification a plus

? Current knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, HIPAA, Worker?s Comp., etc.)

? Experience in employee relations and generalist activities with a strong customer focus

? Excellent communication, including presentation, and people and conflict resolution skills

? Proficiency with Internet research (job boards; outside vendors), Microsoft Office

? A flexible multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple locations

? Previous leadership experience preferred and familiarity with People Soft a plus

You will be expected to stay current in field through trade publications, networking and personal research.
