Manager Labor Relations

Job Description: Mgr, Labor Relations Assist in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements at the Disneyland Resort. Lead the Labor Relations Team in the administration of those collective bargaining agreements, including grievance processing, arbitration, and the fostering of positive labor-management relations with the unions. Provide advice and counsel to Disneyland Resort management on matters of Company Policy, collective bargaining obligations, and employment law. Facilitate compliance with applicable state and federal law requirements.

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent
-Minimum 5 years senior level management experience
-Minimum 5 years Human Resource experience
-Demonstrated strong presentation, facilitation, verbal and written communication skills
-Demonstrated strategic, creative thinking skills
-Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
-Demonstrated strong influencing skills
-Demonstrated strong negotiating skills
-Demonstrated ability to handle high degrees of conflict
-Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information
-Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Juris Doctor
-Masters of Business Administration
-Proven leadership experience
-Proven knowledge of labor and employment law
-Proven knowledge of arbitration and the arbitration process
-Demonstrated working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
-Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment, including
Outlook, Work, PowerPoint and Excel
-Demonstrated proficiency in Spanish, both verbal and written communication
