Organizational Development and Data Analyst

PetSmart headquarters (Store Support Group) in Phoenix, Arizona currently has an opening for a Organizational Development and Data Analyst. The Organizational Development and Data Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing quantitative analysis methodologies and processes to support the People (HR) Department.  The position will be instrumental in creating people oriented metrics, program evaluation methods, and other business applications involving the manipulation of data generated from People initiatives.  The position will also be responsible for making business recommendations based on data results and partnering with departments on initiatives to implement operational changes. Manages large datasets and performs statistical analysis tasks including data cleaning, descriptive data analysis, correlations and regression, and drawing conclusions. Leads the process in designing and creating metrics necessary to track business results related to People initiatives (including those related to turnover, surveys, operating metrics, etc.) Finds trends in data, makes business recommendations and partners with business departments to implement change programs. Designs and implements program evaluations for training and other People initiatives, including ROI (Return on Investment). Finds trends in data, makes business recommendations and partners with business departments to implement change programs.

 

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and four to six years? work experience requiring significant data analysis, project management and client relationship responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and work experience related quantitative analysis involving people or HR metrics and data.
