RECRUITER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with business leaders and determining current and anticipated hiring needs.
* Developing and maintaining relationships and serving as liaison with colleges and universities, community organizations, temporary staffing and recruitment advertising agencies, and vendors.
* Managing the staffing process from open requisition to hire (full cycle recruiting), including sourcing, recruiting, screening, assessing, interviewing, recommending for hire, offering employment to, facilitating due diligence on, and onboarding internal and external candidates for current and anticipated open positions.
* Determining needs for, coordinating placement of, and analyzing effectiveness of recruitment advertising.
* Developing, planning, and implementing recruitment strategies to attract, identify, and hire high-quality employees, utilizing a variety of sources and methods including print media, e-recruiting, campus visits, career fairs, open houses, and employee referrals.
* Developing, planning, training, and implementing interviewing and selection processes, tools, legal requirements, and best practices.
* Facilitating pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
* Tracking and reporting of applicant traffic, background checks, drug screenings, and recruitment advertising activities and related expenditures.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* 3+ years recruiting experience in a high-volume, primarily nonexempt setting (e.g., call center, staffing agency, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, distribution).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong rapport-building, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
* Ability to quickly and effectively establish and maintain relationships and gain and retain trust and confidence by others, especially leaders.
* Strong time management, organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Operates with a high sense of urgency, professionalism, confidence, and flexibility.
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Strong PC skills including MS Office, Lotus Notes, Internet, and BrassRing.

* Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
* Working knowledge of recruiting- and hiring-related employment laws.
* Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices, as well as state and federal laws.
* Strong customer focus, exhibiting an attitude of servitude.
Preferred:
* Previous experience in a call center/sales environment extremely helpful and preferred.
