Job Description:
To manage the acquisition of talent to fill Express Scripts, Inc. employment roles.  Helps to build and update staffing forecasts, prepares and executes recruiting strategies, acquires, directs and manages the work output of contract recruiters, counsels managers on all aspects of the hiring process, etc.  Minimal travel may be required based on business need. 

 

Independently manage recruiting strategies and the recruiting process for a business group. Counsels line managers in final selections, compensation and the recruitment process.  Build and maintain effective collaborative relationships with the management team of assigned client groups. Proactively identify staffing issues and trends before they affect productivity and turnover.  Develop subject matter expertise in assigned business groups.  Select and manage contract recruiters when staffing needs spike. 

 

Conduct new employee orientation training, interviewing training and other development aligned with staffing.

 

Assist management in determining the appropriate compensation for new hires.

 

Under direction of HR Senior Manager, provide support to managers and employees in assigned business group in the areas of  performance counseling, employee retention, policy interpretation and implementation, conflict resolution, legal/contractual requirements, and managing cultural integration.

 

Develop and maintain external relationships that may provide referrals of candidates.

Qualifications:

 

A bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience required.  A Human Resource certification a plus.

 1-3 years experience in recruiting equivalent experience in a human resources specialty area required.

Knowledge of current employment law, worker?s compensation, ADA, EEOC, and FMLA is necessary. 

The ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and keep issues confidential is critical to this position. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PeopleSoft and the ability to learn new software is needed.
