Recruiting Manager

The Opportunity: We are on the verge of nation-wide growth and have now begun the acceleration of new restaurant openings for our El Torito, Chevys, and El Torito Grill concepts. We are looking for an individual to take charge of management recruitment strategies and tactics. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this new position will play a key role in helping the Company to attract and hire management candidates with proven abilities and growth potential. Specific key responsibilities will include:

? Ensure that all the tools are in place to facilitate the company?s restaurant management recruitment efforts including the design and functionality of the employment section of the company?s various websites and the appearance and content of recruitment brochures and career fair displays.
? Source and attract passive job seekers for restaurant management positions including General Manager and Regional Director Candidates.
? Provide HR Managers with a flow of qualified candidates for all markets though effective execution of recruiting tactics. This will include management referrals, internet job postings, use of research firms and head hunters, job fairs and open houses, college recruiting, and a variety of media options.
? Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment tactics to ensure appropriate cost-per-hire objectives are met.
? Coordinate the recruitment and hiring of Restaurant Support Center personnel from clerical to senior management in a variety of disciplines.
? Play a central role in the development of long term strategies and tactics to attract the best restaurant management candidates to the Company.

Requirements:

? Minimum two years HR experience working in a multi-unit retail environment, preferably restaurant
? 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
? Demonstrated proficiency in management recruitment and selection, including strong interviewing skills
? Thorough knowledge of recruitment tactics and their effective execution
? Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and actively
? Prior restaurant experience at any level is a plus

To be eligible for consideration, qualified candidates will need to provide salary history for the past 5 years and be within commute range of our office in Cypress, located off the 605 freeway and Katella.

Candidates must live in the Los Angeles or Orange County area
