INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR

The Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine is seeking an IT Director to function as the campus leader in information technology.  The position has overall responsibility for the campus IT infrastructure and for the integration of information technology into its research and instructional activities.  Must be able to oversee the campus-wide IT services not under the direct control of the IT department. The position advises senior management regarding IT issues, represents the institution on system-wide and other external IT committees and supervises two positions.

 

The ideal candidate must have experience in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short and long range planning and will serve as the  institutions enterprise database administrator to include Jenzabar (SQL based ERP system), JICS (e-learning system), Lytec, Contact management database and other data bases.  Experience serving as the institutions senior network engineer and is responsible for all network topology changes and administering all enterprise routers, switches and firewalls.  The position must have hands on experience in the aforementioned areas

 

Experience and familiarity with Windows 2000 Server, Active Directory, Cisco, Database Management (SQL), TCP/IP, IIS, Enterprise Level Backup software.  Detail oriented.
