Prepress Technician

Our Goal is to find a Prepress Technician with

Pre-flight experience; Exp with Quality/Control of digital files

Mac Experience including ability to upgrade & maintain Mac hardware and software

Proven Customer Service Skills

Quark, Photoshop, and Illustrator Exp.

Ability to work on-site (a must!)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.? Receives digital files from clients and salespeople and completes necessary preflight work needed for their successful ripping and printing, managing workload to assure files are processed as quickly and accurately as possible.? Assures quality in all digital files received, downloaded or created by the Graphic Services Department.? Point of contact for clients and salespeople for answers and service relating to digital are or the technical aspects of printing.? Upgrade, troubleshoot and maintain all Graphic Services hardware and software.? Responsible for the logging, tracking and returning of client disks.? Scans customer art on desktop scanner.? Assists other Graphics Technician personnel as necessary.
