Assistant/Technical Input, Worker's Compensation Claims

The Worker's Compensations Claims Assistant/Technical Input will provide the Workers' Compensation Department with technical support duties requiring broad and comprehensive technical knowledge and experience through the use of independent decision making and discretion. They will be responsible for stamping, organizing, and will query new claims from Cast Health on daily basis, then manage the claims input workflow and provide initial processing of diaries, indexes, initial contact letters, and provide overflow assistance to technical claims assistants. Process claim closures. They will need to have direct communication with emergency rooms regarding status of initial reports and billing, and research of other mystery mail. As well they will input Doctor First Report of Injury, index and Distribute Duty Disposition Reports, conduct ETRS look-up for verification of working status and hours, maintain new claims excel spreadsheet and input claim closures and organize new claims in jackets and distribute to examiners.





REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma or GED
Three to five years of Workers' Compensation technical claims assistance experience.
Self-starter who will take the lead to work through the conflicting demands of the position.
Use of MS Outlook, Excel, Word and GenIris application on a daily basis.
Basic knowledge of Resort and Corporate entities and hierarchy structures.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver quality, timely work within tight deadlines.
Ability to interface with all levels of management.
Strong organizational skills.
