Our client:  A large, established agency in Fresno is expanding their employee benefits dept. and looking to add agents with experience (with or without a book). This is a great opportunity to work with a respected firm and cross sell from their large commercial lines business. Compensation and commission are competitive and would vary depending on earning expectations.

 

Agent/Producer- Employee Benefits

 

Job Duties:

-  Effectively sale and educate groups looking to purchase group and/or individual life and health insurance

-  Maintain and generate revenue on a consistent basis

-  Work closely with the insured to assess their needs and interface with the internal account manager to underwrite accounts

-  Must be able to provide a high-level of customer service and professionalism

 

Skills & Qualifications:

-  Must be able to have self discipline to be able to work independently

-  Must have a Life & Health License

-  Agency experience in employee benefits

-  Be able to present information to clients via phone or in person

-  Must have knowledge of the Applied system

 

 

Employee Benefit Coordinator

Job Duties:

Will be assisting the Producer in Answering phones

Some local traveling may be needed to assist with enrollment, presentation of proposals, etc.

75% of job responsibilities will consist of general servicing of the large to small accounts such as handling routine calls, questions on coverage, outstanding bills, questions clients may have. 25% will be involved in new business.

Completing proposals

Salary  is depending on experience

Prefer to have a Life & Health License

Must know Excel & Word
