Time after time, Progressive has turned the insurance industry upside down through its innovative services, its use of technology and its continual push to be the No. 1 choice for auto insurance.The Estimator I estimates, identifies, and analyzes moderately complex physical damage to vehicles brought into the service centers by customers seeking Progressive's concierge level of claims service. Estimates at this level primarily involve limited damage to the core support, air conditioning and cooling, total losses, and minor unibody damage.

SCOPE:
The Estimator I Svc Ctr reports to a Claims Manager Svc Ctr I or II, Claims Team Leader Svc Ctr or a Repair Coordinator. Possesses limited settlement authority determined by the individual's tenure and job performance.
A qualified candidate must be/have:
- Excellent organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
-Effective team player.
-Strong Customer Service skills.
-Proficient in basic computer skills.
- PD 1 certified.
-Proficient in the use of Webtracker, Mitchells, PACMAN
- A valid driver's license with an excellent driving history. A Motor Vehicle Report must be run through the Fleet department to confirm the candidate's driving record. Employees with 3 or less points (as defined by Progressive), will be added as a driver. Anyone with more than 3 points will not be permitted to drive on behalf of Progressive. However, having 3 or more MVR points does not prohibit Progressive from considering an applicant for hire.
-Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and/or postsecondary education. Relevant experience includes work as a claims adjuster, a property damage adjuster, or repair work within an automobile repair and/or body shop OR work experience in a position that developed or required the ability to think critically, solve problems, plan and organize activities, serve customers, negotiate, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and embrace new challenges.
