Group Support Specialist

This position performs a variety of data entry and clerical duties in conjunction with processing applications which are additions or changes to Group Life, AD&D, Dependent Life, Supplemental Life, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability groups.

 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

?  High School diploma

?  At least two years of general office experience, preferably working in the policy issue or policyholders service department of a Life/Health insurance company.

?  Typing (45wpm) preferred

?  Must have the ability to operate calculator, copy and facsimile machines and other usual business machines.

?  Data entry experience preferred

?  Knowledge of PC programs (Microsoft Word and Excel)

?  Problem solving ability

?  Demonstrated ability to plan and organize

?  Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters

?  Must dress and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

?  Must have good verbal and written communication skills

? Applicants who have completed Parts 1& 2 of LOMA will be given preferential consideration.
