Lead Underwriter

Our client, a leading and respected provider of group employee benefits, is seeking a Lead Underwriter. This professional will have responsibility for the underwriting of Group Life, Disability and Medical products as well as supervisory and training responsibility for the Underwriting unit and will provide high level underwriting expertise for Sales and Marketing, New Business and Customer Service departments.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years of group underwriting experience including 2-3 years of experience coordinating the work of others. Will substitute underwriting experience for education. Successful completion of LOMA, CEBES and/or HIAA industry courses is preferred. A designation is not required.

This position offers a competitive salary and benefit package including relocation assistance.
