Under minimal direction, accountable for managing territory field underwriting. Assume responsibilities for an assigned group of agents as the key contact on underwriting decisions, acting as a trusted personal insurance advisor and recommender and identifying untapped market capabilities. May provide guidance to other Territory Underwriters.


Requirements:


3 years minimum of commercial casualty underwriting experience preferably in the E&S market. A recent working background in CA construction and large premium structured accounts would be very beneficial as well. It would be preferable for the candidate to have current relationships with the wholesale brokers on the west coast.
