Selling CSR or Commercial Lines Insurance Sales Producer

 

To assist in the production of new commercial accounts and the retention of renewal accounts in keeping with agency goals in new location-Anthem. This position must be filled asap!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Actively solicits new clients through a comprehensive and aggressive marketing program.

Actively solicits increases in coverage or rounding out accounts through sales to existing clients at every service contact.

Prepare new applications with underwriting acceptability for insurance company program, completion and accuracy.

Conduct periodic service calls per service plan for designated commercial accounts and explains coverage and exclusions to clients.

Actively seeks referrals from current client base to solicit for new business prospects; follows up to generate new business using prospect database and system.

Receives phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes, changes to existing coverage and/or new policies. Determines acceptability and placement, completes applications or endorsements and collects premium when applicable.

Reviews existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be solicited and does so by mail and phone.

Maintain customer?s account on agency automation system, documenting conversations in notes, sending confirmations to insured and adhering to all other automation procedures that are/become established.

To monitor loss control service with regards to the designated commercial account Client Service Plan.

Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency and company personnel to minimize potential for error or omission claims.

After reviewing the survey information, completes applications for designated renewal business. Contact insured for latest data and obtain renewal information 90 days before renewal date. Assist Producer as directed or necessary.

Receive phone calls from clients and companies, complies with requests and keeps Producer informed of client activities.

Perform special projects at management?s request.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

Support standing of office staff with clients.

Solicit expiration dates for policies not written by agency.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

A high school degree or equivalent is desirable and must be P&C licensed in AZ, Life license is a plus! Commercial Insurance experience is a huge plus!
