Video Production Specilist

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the video production specialist is to coordinate, record, edit, encode and deliver high quality multimedia communications materials for use in corporate videos, video news releases, websites, live streaming broadcasts, pod-casts, closed-circuit television projects and other media  to reach internal/external audiences.

 

Key Responsibility Areas:

Coordinate all aspects of video production with an emphasis on delivering quality products that communicate key messaging and reflect TriWest?s positioning, including:

? Write, produce, direct, film and edit video productions into effective and quality multimedia communication or training materials.

? Coordinate production elements including script, scene progression, action sequences, dialogue, narration, lighting, music, releases, and settings.

? Coordinate scheduling of productions, including talent, equipment and technical crew and other effects as needed.

? Supervise post-production work including editing, sound recording, dubbing and mixing and other special effects.

? Set up and management of audio and video equipment, including lighting, microphones, computers, cabling and other equipment

? Provide assistance in script development from an initial concept through the research stage and finally production.

? Serve as director of photography/videography for all corporate events. Capture and log all events to tape.

? Provide quality computer graphic design work for all productions created.

? Organize, arrange, develop and meet the audio visual needs of all departments.  Provide technical and creative assistance as needed.

? Maintain audio/visual library of original footage, B-roll, interviews, stock footage, news coverage, etc.; order necessary supplies and equipment.

? Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment; research, analyze and recommend new methods/equipment to enhance multimedia department operations and efficiency.

? Perform other related duties as required.

 

Working Conditions:

Favorable working conditions in a climate controlled office space; must be available for to cover any work shift; Works within an office environment with minimal travel required; level II IT security clearance.

 

Employment Standards

Education and Experience:

? Bachelors degree, technical degree or equivalent work experience plus 2-5 years of audio/video production experience

? Must have a digital portfolio demonstrating an ability to manage a multimedia project from start to finish, and create effective audio and video presentations

? Proficiently operate professional-level audiovisual equipment; estimate time, cost, personnel and equipment requirements for audiovisual production; plan, organize and supervise production activities under varying and adverse physical conditions and subject to assignment on short notice.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

? Working knowledge of streaming video and thorough understanding of editing, encoding and digitizing process

? Technical proficiency with Mac and PC operating systems and hardware and video production, editing and special effects software (Final Cut Pro and/or Avid DV Express)

? Must be able to manage time, work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines

? Must be detail oriented with a strong design style and commitment to quality

? Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

? Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of video equipment for extended periods of time
