Actionscript Developer - Computer Based Training

Position Description:

This position is responsible for designing and developing computer-based training programs for a variety of training products acrossthe organization.Consults with targeted departments to identify training needs, and recommends training solutions based on findings. Designs and develops new computer-based training programs. Produce and edit digital quality video. Deploys computer-based training to CD, network, and web. Evaluates and revises existing computer-based training programs based on AWA policy and process changes. Consults with internal customers regarding their design, development and revision of computer-based training products. Ensures training materials are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and ensures responsiveness to regulator agencies (including FAA, TSA, DOT, etc.) Completes other tasks as required by the Manager, Instructional Design.

 

Position Requirements:PROFICIENT IN ACTIONSCRIPT 2.0 (required)Proficient in Macromedia Products (Authorware, Flash, Dreamweaver), Photoshop, Word, Powerpoint, Access, Digital Video Editing Software (Final Cut Pro, HTML/XML, web design, and database/LMS connectivityBachelor's Degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience/training; Certification in Macromedia ProductsAt least 2 years experience applying instructional design to computer based trainingFundamental knowledge of instructional design and adult learning methodologiesAbility to manage multiple projects independently and efficientlyAbility to consult with internal customers to help them manage their training development and delivery projectsBasic understanding of airline operationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills; highly approachable and professional at all times
