Desk Top Support Administrator

Z Gallerie has immediate opportunity for a Desk Top Support Administrator.  The position will guide Z Gallerie through the formalization of IT help desk and desktop support functions.  This will include recording and tracking all help desk calls, centralizing contact mechanisms using both email and telephone technologies, identifying and coordinating the most appropriate resource to address issues reported and implementing a case tracking solution to automate and centralize the reporting of issues and analyzing related metrics.  Help desk call tracking will include both end user problems as well as application enhancement requests and bug reports.  Responsibilities include maintaining a list of application enhancement requests for all applications in the enterprise application portfolio.

 

This resource will also have responsibility for asset (both hardware and software) tracking and management, and ensuring compliance with software license agreements and that necessary hardware and software support agreements are in place.

 

In addition this resource will handle cases directly as appropriate to their level of experience.  Cases will include, hardware, software and network related issues for all locations.  Both wired and wireless network experience is a plus.  This resource will also be responsible for ordering, configuring and installing new PCs for both store POS and corporate users.

 

Candidate should be experienced in customer support activities, have excellent people skills, be very organized and detail oriented, have excellent documentation skills, be eager to learn and grow, have experience with PC based applications including Microsoft Office applications and database applications.

 

1 ? 5 years work experience required.  Customer facing experience required.  Experience with PC applications and data bases required.  Strong organizational skills and follow up skills are a must.  Position is located in Gardena CA.
