Systems Administrator

As our Systems Administrator, you will:

? Administer and configure servers, and monitoring tools running on Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux
? Write UNIX shell scripts to administer server and correct problems with configuration files
? Identify bugs and perform limited programming in Perl
? Troubleshoot issues with site
? Write technical documents on standards and procedures and illustrations
? Install and administer applications on Sun Solaris and Linux
? Structure and organize documents on company standards for production system
? Function as a part of a 24/7 operations team


Your qualifications include:

? Minimum three years of system administration, preferably in the internet/e-commerce or IT consulting industry
? Strong UNIX (Linux) Administration and advanced scripting experience including shell scripting in Solaris and Linux
? Extensive knowledge of Sun Solaris Administration, and RedHat Linux
? Perl or other Unix scripting languages a must
? Solid systems administration experience with iPlanet, Apache, DNS/BIND, and LDAP
? Senior level knowledge of Veritas Netbackup
? Strong Network Appliance storage knowledge
? Familiarity with Oracle and Sybase a plus
? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline
? Ability to work flexible hours, and provide emergency coverage in a mission critical 24/7/365 environment as needed.
