Technical Product Manager



Shopzilla is passionate about building the best global shopping platform, and we're seeking a results-oriented Technical Product Manager to help drive our product strategy for our domestic and international sites. As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing programs and projects that improve our consumer's ability to find, discover and buy on Shopzilla.com. Specifically, you will manage a mix of large-scale initiatives and smaller projects that impact the Shopzilla?s homepage, product pages, search, and store navigation.

Specific responsibilities:

? Identify new areas for product development by analyzing customer requirements and competitive gaps. Champion and present opportunity to management for consideration.
? Work with team on site infrastructure initiatives, from defining requirements, to drafting PRD's to development, to QA and testing.
? Oversee ongoing development of back-end systems that drive increased usage, retention and revenue.
? Utilize and analyze site reports and other secondary and primary data sources to identify product improvements.

Qualifications: 

? Ideal candidate has an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, business, or related field
? 3-5 years product experience for an e-commerce/online consumer business
? Technically oriented with the ability to define and discuss requirements with engineering talent
? Disciplined project manager with a successful track record managing cross-functional teams to timelines and budgets
? Ability to manage complex projects and tight timelines
? Strong leadership and communication skills
