Technical Web Producer
The PRIMEDIA Equine Group, located near the Deer Valley Airport, has an immediate need for a Technical Web Producer to manage and grow two of our websites. The following is a list of responsibilities our new team member will be performing and the skills required to do so.
Responsibilities:Content Development - Get print content online; make changes to pages to ensure content is displayed properly; edit image and video; create and send newsletters; manage forums and moderators.Technical - Implementing technical requests; reviewing bug reports and error logs; promotions and giveaway technical administration.Site Metrics - Create dashboards for team to review site stats, user volumes, etc.; recommend page level changes or creation based on traffic patterns; competitive analysis; identify new site partnerships.
Skills Required:Analytical - Performance and trend analysis for email, marketing, and advertising campaigns.Technical - Strong HTML and CSS coding skills; mid-level PHP and/or ASP .NET development; entry-level Flash; entry-level Photoshop.Personal - Responsible and organized; will be working on 2 to 3 tasks concurrently, so multi-tasking is key; ability to clearly argue/debate a position; competent in basic statistical analysis; good communicator, but not a salesperson; good writing skills.
Experience Required:Must have production experience with:1+ years building websites using PHP or .NET1+ years experience working at production-level for one site, or a small group of sitesAbility to write clean HTML and CSS in a text editorSimple image creation, production and editing skills in programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, etc.
Nice-to-have Experience:Knowledge of the equine industry.
