The Web Designer is responsible for working on a variety of projects primarily involved in web site design and development. Responsible for designing the user interface and overall customer experience for our web sites and applications.

? Responsible for design, graphic production, and html creation for www.moviebeam.com site and related MovieBeam campaign sites.  Also includes design production for html emails, e-newsletters, and other web applications.

? Works with Web Product Manager and external design agencies to produce and implement web pages with consistent branding, user interface, and look and feel.

? Works with engineering teams and uses content management system (CMS) and digital asset manager (DAM) to make updates to web pages.

? Ensures that all design elements, forms and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings.

? Provides design elements, comps, templates, html, and other finished solutions.

? Works with other teams in Sales and Marketing to produce designs for print collaterals, trade shows, retail displays, etc.

 Education, Training & SkillsBachelors degree in relevant Web media and design or ecommerce discipline or equivalent work experience requiredIn-depth knowledge and experience using the following software: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, ImageReady, and basic Macromedia Flash

? Ability to produce HTML by hand or using Dreamweaver

? Knowledge of Web technologies, best practices and usability

? Experience working with cross-functional teams within Marketing and Engineering.

? At least 2 years experience in Web-based graphic design or web interface design.

? Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups

? Good Oral and Written communication skills

? Must be organized and detail-oriented
