Unix Web Services developer in Tucson, AZ

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Develop and deploy Web Services applications running on Unix and Linux servers. Install and configure Unix and Linux operating systems and Web application software in those environments. Work effectively with other technical teams (operations, networking, project managers, etc.). Provide engineering support to on call systems support team members and assist with 24x7 technical support for Unix web servers and services when required.

Basic Qualifications:
Web Skillsrequired: ColdFusion server 6 / 7 J2EE (Sun Java Application Server) Web servers (SunONE server, Apache) LDAP (Sun Directory Server) CA Siteminder (formerly Netegrity Siteminder) Hands on experience with various technologies and skills including: networking, security, advanced OS, UNIX and kernel hardening, systems integration, advanced troubleshooting, and authentication/authorization services. 5 years UNIX (Sun, SGI and HP) and Linux (Red Hat preferred) experience in a medium to high complexity production environment Clustering, Patching, Configuration Management and Control methodology's. Experience in implementing and documenting systems for high volume production environments. Excellent troubleshooting skill and ability to understand complex relationships between components of the overall systems architecture. Solid knowledge of operating system internals, file system structures and machine architectures. Working experience with UNIX system administrator tools, UNIX shell scripts and at least one scripting language (e.g. Perl). Ability to monitor, analyze, test and tune the operating system Broad knowledge of networking and networking applications. Must be able to install and configure Solaris, IRIX, HPUX and Linux. Required experience with MPI libraries and compilers.
