Web Production Artist

A fast-paced advertising agency has an immediate opportunity for a web/flash production artist. You MUST be passionate about creating online banners, websites and other interactive based projects for the web. Editors and motion graphic artists please do not apply.

Responsibilities

? Prepare Photoshop files for web production.
? Revise, repurpose, compress and collect existing online banners for a multitude of sites.
? Animate online banners and websites using Flash.
? Maintain job and spec folders, and project resources on a weekly basis.
? Work with project lead to ensure creative intent and results are achieved at the highest level.
? Assist on proposals, and development of various initiatives.
? Conceptualize and generate innovative ideas to keep work fresh and assist with department growth.
? Stay current with latest web design trends and technology and implement as appropriate.

Requirements

? 1-3 years hands-on web production/design experience necessary.
? Must be detail-oriented, be able to ask questions and follow directions precisely.
? Must be able to meet deadlines, and keep an open line of communication.
? Must have proficiency with leading web design software tools including HTML, Flash and Actionscripting.
? Be able to optimize banner units to spec.
? Ability to take direction and be self-motivated.
? Be organized, detail-oriented, articulate and have a positive attitude.
