As a route employee, you act as a direct link between our company and our valued customers. Your customer service skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of security practices and procedures are the keys to our company?s success.



We have several part- and full-time Armored Car Guard-Security-Drivers openings for individuals who:

? Are at least 21 years of age

? Have an excellent driving record; no at-fault accidents or DUI convictions in the last 5 yrs

? Have a clear criminal record; no felony or domestic violence convictions

? Have demonstrated responsible use of credit

? Have knowledge of firearms and ability to be licensed

? Have stable employment history 

? Can successfully complete a polygraph and drug screen



SCOPE:

Armored Service Technicians are responsible for pickup and delivery of customer orders in accordance with designated route, make stops at customer locations daily. Crews typically consist of two or more team members. Specific responsibilities will vary from day to day. Ability to communicate verbally with team members, customers and branch management via telephone and two-way radio required.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Drive automatic and standard shift vehicles (ranging from 6,100 to 20,420 GVW) a minimum of 4 hours per day

? Load/unload cargo consisting of cassettes, bags, and boxes of coin and currency; carry minimum of 50 pounds by hand or up to several hundred pounds by cart

? Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign receipts and manifests

? Makes deliveries and pick-ups to/from customers



QUALIFICATIONS:

? Valid State of California driver?s license (commercial license - big plus)

? Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely in accordance with DOT regulations

? At least 21 years of age.

? Work experiences demonstrating customer service attitude and team work orientation.

? Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach out.

? Ability to push/pull dollies/carts loaded with cargo weighing up to several hundred pounds.

? Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.

? Special consideration given to applicants with California Guard Card and Weapons Permit.

? Able to pass a DOT physical, comprehensive background check, polygraph and drug screen.

? Full time employees work a minimum of 40-hours per week anytime during a 7-day work period.



COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

? Compensation based on current labor agreement - starts at $14.25 per hour

 

Higher rate may be available based on prior industry experience!!
