Armored Truck Driver
Job Purpose: Protects assets by accepting, protecting, and delivering assets; keeping records; driving truck.
Duties:
* Keeps truck operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
* Organizes work by receiving and studying pick-up and delivery schedule.
* Accepts assets by collecting, transporting, and loading containers in truck; recording containers received, description, and destination.
* Protects assets by following prescribed security procedures while in possession of containers; observing suspicious situations and individuals; taking evasive actions; defending assets; calling for assistance.
* Delivers assets by following assigned routes; unloading and transporting containers from truck; depositing containers in secure area; recording containers delivered; obtaining receipt.
* Protects organization's image and assets by keeping security information confidential.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Enhances security and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
