Asset Protection Manager

Qualifications:BA/BS Degree in business, criminal justice, or related field required. At least 3 years experience at a management level in a retail environment.Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory position.Must have a valid driver?s license with a clean MVR.Must be able to pass a pre employment drug-screening exam and background check.Certification of Loss Prevention techniques, helpful, but not required.Must be able to obtain a State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint clearance card.Demonstrated experience in agency auditing required.
Special Knowledge and Skills:Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of Retail/Industrial Security Systems. Prior experience with Video/Camera surveillance systems. Must have excellent computer skills including, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and oral communication skills, mathematical skills, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Must show ability to instruct, motivate, act as a member of a team, and to maintain confidentiality of protected information.
Job Summary:Assists with the development, implementation, monitoring, and coordinating of training forAsset Protection policies and programs to include safety, asset loss prevention, and monitoring systems.Assists with the installation, use and monitoring of the GPS system, the ?Lock System?, the Key and Entry Code system and all camera-based and alarm security systems.Supports retail store managers, work force development, and human resources in resolving asset protection claims/issues.Maintains excellent relationships with eternal asset protection vendors, various police and public safety agencies.Conducts interviews, investigations, and creates Case Reports for incidents of theft.Conducts physical surveys of current and future facilities to identify security needs and assessment of risk.Conducts audits on cash, check and credit handing process to ensure proper procedures are being maintained within the organization.Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Ensures all work areas are maintained in a clean, uncluttered, hazard free condition. Immediately takes action and /or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
