Responsibilities:

Responsible for monitoring, receiving, verifying and entering data on all alarm activations and/or telephone calls. Dispatches appropriate authorities and/or ADT Security Services in accordance with ADT Security?s policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Monitors system for alarm signals and responds to alarms using ADT Security?s policies and procedures.

2. Dispatches ADT Patrol Officers utilizing a two-way radio, Nextel or telephone to ADT Client alarm activations and calls the appropriate authorities. Follows the Dispatch policies and procedures to ensure timely response to customers for their protection of individuals and property.

3. Properly documents alarm handling procedures within the alarm screens.

4. Completes alarm processing in accordance with departmental procedures.

5. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of six (6) months of external customer service experience required, emergency dispatch experience preferred.

Skills: Excellent communication skills. Able to type at least 35 wpm. Basic knowledge of computer applications. Ability to remain calm and in control while handling an emergency call.
