Loss Prevention Associate

FAMSA, Inc. is a Mexican based company, providing retail goods such as furniture, home-appliances and personal electronics to the Spanish speaking communities.  We began business in Southern California in the year 2001 and we currently have 14 store locations and 1 distribution center. 

 

We are looking for a Loss Prevention Associate to join our  team at our Fresno, Store.

 

Job Description:

Loss Prevention Investigator

This position will support and assist loss prevention management in the implementation, coordination and administration of the company loss prevention policies, programs and practices within all respective operating groups. This position is also responsible for the reduction of financial and inventory loss through the use of loss prevention auditing, internal theft investigations, surveillance, and operational awareness training.

Duties include but are not limited to:

?  Conduct safety inspections and communicates hazards to Management.

?  Monitoring company CCTV surveillance

?  Responsible for heightening store Loss Prevention/Safety awareness.
?  Participating in ongoing loss prevention training

?  Conducting internal investigation

?  Performing operational audits

?  Monitoring compliance of company policies and procedures dealing with physical security, inventory and operations

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

?  A high school diploma or equivalent

?  Pass a drug test, have a minimum 1year of retail Loss Prevention experience

?  Effective written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

?  The ability to maintain strict confidentiality

?  Self-motivated and the ability to work independently

?  Flexible schedule with nights and/or weekends
