Electrical Debug Technician

Schedule: 5-day workweek M-F; 7:00AM ? 4:00PM (1/2-hour lunch) or 3:30pm-12:30

Description:

Principal responsibilities:

Functional Level Test, Evaluation, and Troubleshooting of SMT and PTH electronic assemblies.



Research product revision history and evaluate field return assemblies for compliance.



Documentation of troubleshooting and repair history within Failure Analysis Data System.



Track product for both requirement schedule and correct process routing.





Periodic duties include:

Maintaining the inventory that has been assigned to the technician and showing ownership in the tracking database.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications



Responsibilities include functional-level testing and failure analysis of field return products. Must be able to work as a participative team member evaluating trend data and drive root cause corrective action when needed.



5 years electronic component-level troubleshooting experience.



Experience with microprocessor-based assemblies.



Experience with using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and emulators.



Working knowledge of computer bus structure.



Minimum 2 years experience debugging Analog/IO product.



Minimum 2 years experience debugging SBC/CompactPCI product.





Desired

2-year technical degree.



Working knowledge of VME, PCI analog product, and CompactPCI bus structures.Six-Sigma or SPC training.
