Electrical tech

Job Purpose:

Work close with company management and customers in repairing, or installing electrical and electronic components in manufacturing plants and equipment.



Duties:

*  troubleshooting breakdowns; troubleshoot and install PLC's;installing new equipment; building simple control panels; making repairs.



* Ensures operation of repaired or new equipment by completing customer requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; notifying supervisors or management should problems occur; evaluating new equipment and techniques.



* Enhance equipment performance by developing and installing modifications; making adjustments.



* Documents actions by completing work orders and maintenance.



* Resolves installation problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.



* Maintains continuity among other employees and customers by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

 

* PLC Knowledge and installation.


 

* Confirms equipment performance by conducting tests.



* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
