This is a Direct Hire position, paying between $43K to 49K PLUS OVERTIME. It is located in Huntsville, AL and is responsible for leading and developing production team members and team leaders in the Machining area while improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Position requires:
' The ability to manage and motivate people, as well as solve complex problems.
' Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, employee relations and team building in a high volume manufacturing environment.
' Requires a broad knowledge of production systems, principles and methodology.
' Good technical background is needed in order to manage day-to-day activities as well as improvement projects.
' Must be able to handle multiple tasks during the workday.
' Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact with all levels of management as well as all levels of plant personnel.
' Must be able to make decisions regarding complex issues.
' Some travel may be required

Required Skills:
' 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
' 3-5 years metal cutting/machining/CNC experience
' Solid understanding of machining principles
' Fundamental understanding of tooling and metal cutting principles
' Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact with all levels of site management and plant personnel.

Education:
' High School Diploma
' Some college or technical degree preferred
