Manufacturing Test Engineer

The Manufacturing Test Engineer will participate in and contrbute to new product development from the conceptualization stage through the deployment stage.Responsibilities will include contributing to DFX (DFT, DFA) reviews and recommendations for new products.Domestic and international travel to contract manufacturing sites is required.Duties include: tracking and communicating project progress; test development strategy and implementation; manufacturing process development and transfer; test and assembly equipment transfer, set up, and training.Will be responsible to drive and integrate a full test plan for a product/product family/company-wide strategy.***And other duties as assigned or needed.***

Experience and Skills:
A BS in Electrical Engineering or related technicial discipline is preferred, but extensive related experience will be considered in lieu of degree.3-5 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment or launching products at a CM is required.A command of in-circuit and functional test development, and subsequent technology transfer is essential.The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of PCA and mechanical design as related to manufacturability.Willingness and ability to travel on overnight trips that may vary in duration and will include international destinations.
