New Product Introduction Analyst

Coordinates multi-discipline activity to assure product launches occur within the timeline and within cost targets.Establishing aggressive delivery targets and aligning Avocent and CM resources to meet milestones.Activities are tracked and reported to responsible parties for resolution.Problem prevention, resolution, and mitigation is necessary, requiring a high-level of initiative.Sourcing of services and products from a pre-determined supply base is performed.Preparation of quote packages is a constant activity, and the development of a quote system is required.Position requires interface with external suppliers and with all internal departments. ***And other duties as assigned or needed.***

Experience and Skills:
Candidate will possess a solid understanding of manufacturing, test, and quality principles and best practices.Purchasing, process or test engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is a plus.A four year degree in Business or a technical discipline is preferred, but extensive additional experience will be considered . A full command of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Project, and Word is required.
