Plant Manager

We are currently recruiting for Plant Manager.  Directs and coordinates activities of organization to obtain optimal efficiency of operations and maximize profits.  Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:

 

?  Responds to related production problems and pursues and implements remedies to such problems.

?  Follows production and company objectives to direct departments through subordinate supervisors.

?  Responsible for costs, methods, operations, quality and quantity of production.

?  Manages the activities of production, plant engineering, quality control, manufacturing, engineering and administrative services.

?  Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational and manufacturing problems to ensure minimum cost, prevent operational delays, and take advantage of opportunities.

?  Ensures all established safety, environmental, cost, quality, and delivery commitments are met.

?  Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources and equipment.

?  Prepares and manages plant and capital budgets for plant operations.

?  Manages P/L for plant operations and makes appropriate adjustments to maintain profitability.

?  Coordinates input from supervisors to determine production goals, staffing needs, and equipment utilization and provides guidance and support as necessary.

?  Provides leadership and guidance to Department Managers providing support in communication, employee issues, incident investigations, and problem solving and resolution.

?  Enhances positive employee relations through motivation and effective communications on a daily basis.

 

Minimum requirements are a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field. A minimum of 10 years manufacturing management experience in all areas of plant operations is required.  Candidates must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet applications; demonstrated leadership skills, assertiveness, initiative, planning/organizing and follow-up/monitoring.
