Our Alaska production facility in Cordova is looking for a Refrigeration Technician.? We will fly you to Alaska and supply you with room and board. If you complete the season we will pay your return flight home. We are looking for someone that can work long hours, endure the physical demands of the job and tolerate a cold environment.? We prefer experience as a Refrigeration Engineer. There are many duties involved with this position:

???????? You will coordinate, operate, repair and maintain all refrigeration-related equipment handling ammonia systems and freon. Refrigeration equipment will be maintained and kept in good working order.

???????? Major repairs are performed with little supervision and limited instruction. Plant service calls are responded to promptly. All schematics and blue prints are read and understood completely without assistance.

???????? Maintain daily preventive maintenance, and logs records of the system. Inspect, adjust and monitor refrigeration system for most efficient means of operation. Order and receive parts. Train back up refrigeration operator. Accompany representative of State a Federal Inspectors on Refrigeration inspections. Actively participate on Safety Committee.

You must be a team player, and able to facilitate and coordinate with other maintenance personal a facility breakdown to minimize down time. Must be able to prioritize workload, and work well under pressure despite constant interruptions. Must be accurate on paperwork. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required. Work is physical and requires exposure to very cold temperatures. Floor surfaces are wet and slippery. Heavy lifting required. Must be on call 24 hours 7 days a week during peek season. Flexibility in the work schedule is required. Work is fast paced. Drug and background checks required.
