SR Quality Engineer

CITY: Huntsville STATE: Alabama COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Minimum 7 years experience in PCBA manufacturing experience with emphasis on quality assurance or equivalent combination of academic and professional experience.
* Knowledgeable in IPC610 / 7721 / 7711.
* Failure analysis techniques and reporting.
* Experience should be in low volume/high mix electronics manufacturing.
* Statistical data management experience and manipulation (tools and knowledge)
* Experience working with Manufacturing Associates, Design and Manufacturing Engineering, as well as sales and upper management.
* Assisted on capability study and evaluation of processes.
* Background in developing and writing ISO quality standards.
* New product introduction performing 1st article inspections.
* Writing PFMEA's and control plans.
* Meet or exceed statistical process control metrics.
* Meet or exceed individual part quality control metrics (parts per XX defect rate)
* Meet all assigned project timelines for tasks assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS or Associate's degree with equivalent Quality experience.
* Good written and verbal communications skills.
* Self-starter.
* Proficiency in M/S PC software applications.

Desired:
* Working knowledge of GE Fanuc products.
* Knowledge of Visual Basic, MS Word, MS Access.
* Six Sigma (Quality).
