Warehouse Manager

Reponsibilities:Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of warehouse team leaders and hi-lo forklift operators.  Carry out supervisory responsibilites in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws. Maintain saftety conscience workplace and adhere to GMP standards. Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current and ensure said procedures are carried out.  Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment.  Prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.  Directs salvage of damaged or used material. Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities. Responsible for facilitation of ISO policies and procedures. Responsible for the finished goods and preform cycle counts and inventory accuracy.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

 Bachelor degree in Business Administration (or related degree) or minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Self-motivated with high energy and able to function independently. Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and SAP. Excellent interpersonal relations built on respect and integrity. Ability to multi-task and work successfully in high-pressure environment.
