NESI, a 27 year old global education and military support services organization with compelling growth seeks individuals for our Family Services Program at Camp Pendleton, San Diego. Benefits include health and welfare, paid holidays and vacation.

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor has direct responsibility for patient assessment and the organization and implementation of individualized treatment plans. Counselors shall possess a BA/BS Degree in Social Sciences, Human Counseling, Education or related field and a current State of California certification as Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor or any state equivalent. In addition, the candidate must have at least 2 years of working experience which provided a thorough understanding of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Patient Placement Criteria for the treatment of substance-related disorders. Plan and conduct lectures for outpatient treatment, provide individual and group counseling and serve as a resource to the Substance Abuse Control Officers at individual military commands as well as to the overall military community.
