Convoy Trainer Technician

Convoy Trainer/Technician  - CLS/Service Contracts group

 

-Install/operate/maintain VCCT systems on-site at customer chosen location.

Operate/maintain training schedule utilizing FATS equipment to fulfill customer?s training needs.

-Provide initial VCCT equipment installation support. Operate VCCT system in accordance with customer?s training requirements. Maintain VCCT system while providing periodic feedback to home office of system operation, necessary improvements, and suggested improvements.

Provide quality customer support at all times. Represent FATS in a professional manner at all times. Provide maintenance support for Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) items.

 

Requires a working knowledge of Military operating procedures, specifically: convoy operations, is a benefit. Ability to competently work with computers and electro-mechanical devices.  Ability to read and comprehend wiring schematics, mechanical drawings, and technically descriptive documents. Must be able to clearly communicate with personnel of all disciplines and educational backgrounds. Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to produce written reports.

Computer Hardware, A+ /Microsoft certifications a benefit. Strong electronics/computer hardware troubleshooting background.

 

Prior Military service with experience in convoy operations strongly preferred. Training and experience in computer and audio/visual equipment troubleshooting  Use of various hand tools, gauges and electronics test equipment.  Multiple personal computers (operating and repairing).

The ability to lift 75lbs required. Eyesight correctable to 20/20. Limited travel required.

Current passport may be required. Full U.S. Citizenship required.
