SHORE INSTALLATION MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary of Job Duties:

Serco, Inc., a leading professional services firm supporting the Department of Defense, the U.S. Military, the U.S. Postal Service, federal civilian agencies, state, and local governments and commercial customers, is seeking expert in military shore installation management with in-depth, hands-on experience in implementation of NAV 2030 and Seapower 21 principles in support of ashore infrastructure.  Successful candidates will possess demonstrated expertise in the exercise of executive, administrative and supervisory direction and oversight for the delivery/provision of day-to-day installation services to the Headquarters.

Specialties in one or more of the following areas sought:

Airfield operations; port operations; operations support; community support; housing; facility support; environment; public safety; command and staff.

Position provides analytical support to a major US Navy Command.  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

­ Providing Program Management assessment

­ Strategic planning support

­ Development of operations and/or business plans

­ Business process improvement, best practices, and standardization of processes

­ Organizational improvement analysis

­ Knowledge Management implementation and sustainment

­ DoD, Navy, and Joint Infrastructure information gathering and analysis

­ Data coordination, collection, identification, and analysis

­ Team meetings facilitation along with consensus building techniques

­ Business Case Analysis

­ Policy drafting and coordination

­ Business Analysis

­ Financial Management

 

Minimum Qualifications:

?  Thorough knowledge of Navy installations and systemsMaster?s degree with two years of experience or bachelor?s degree with four years of experience or associate?s degree with six years of experienceAbility to perform all job requirements working independently and with limited supervisionAbility to work overtime when requiredUnderstanding of the Navy Command environmentAbility to multitask in a high pressure environmentSkill in adapting administrative policies or procedures to meet emergency situations
