Senior Program Planning & Control Analyst: Navy Systems Program Management experience

DUTIES : Responsible for providing overall Program Management support associated with PEO IWS 2.0 SPQ-9B Radar Program including, but not limited to: Program Management support including monitoring radar contracts; Design Agent oversight, tracking/monitoring CDRLs, and total logistics/life-cycle support; Financial Support includes budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis; collects and reviews financial data; creates/maintains financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates reclamas, POMs and generates vaious financial reports; Prepares management plans, budgets and schedules; Uses computer programs to track program office information/data; Serves as a liaison between IWS 2.0 and the radar contractors; Provides work leadeship for lower level employees. Maintains contact with PEO IWS 2.0 and the various Navy Lab customers relating to the completion of assignments and coordination of radar efforts.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 8 years experience in Navy Systems Program Management support; preferably Navy Radar Programs. MS Office products proficiency required. BS/BA required. Familiarity with system life cycle support, NAVSEA systems Program Management and other Government Program and Financial Databases.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Some travel required.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Demonstrated effective organizational skills. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and other pertinent software applications. Effective communication skills. Knowledge of program requirements.
