Our firm has been retained by The Buckley School to recruit for the Associate Director of Development.
Established in 1933, The Buckley School is a coeducational, college-preparatory day school enrolling 750 students in Kindergarten through Grade Twelve. The Buckley School offers students a safe and serene environment in which to pursue excellence in academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits. The annual budget for the school is $20 million.
We are seeking an Associate Director of Development who will report to the Director of Development and be responsible for managing, developing, coordinating, and evaluating a comprehensive annual giving program for the School through major donor clubs, telemarketing, direct mail and reunions. This individual will work closely with a large team of volunteers to accomplish goals, and will also personally solicit gifts of $5,000 or more. In addition, this individual will provide leadership to alumni relations programs that deepen the School?s relationship with alumni and engages them in the life of the School.
The successful candidate will have at least five years of development experience with demonstrated success and experience in an annual giving program. Must be knowledgeable of direct mail, telemarketing, face-to-face, and Internet solicitation.
Our client is also willing to look at candidates outside of the non-profit arena who have applicable backgrounds with experience as a strong manager, strategic thinker, and excellent writer.
