Development Communications and Research Coordinator
Spirituality for Kids (SFK), a Los Angeles based educational non-profit organization, is seeking to create a full-time position entitled Development Communications and Research Coordinator (DCRC).
The DCRC will be responsible for the following:
- managing the overall donor research process
- crafting internal and external donor communications
- identifying and soliciting financial contributions from corporate, government and individual foundations
- supporting and co-managing the donor relations process
- providing any additional support to the Director of Development
SFK is seeking candidates who possess the following:
- strong written and oral communication skills
- professional experience in the non-profit fundraising industry
- comprehensive computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- a strong desire to work in a dynamic and flexible work environment
- attention to detail and a goal-oriented work ethic
- a personal desire to affect and change people's lives
- an entrepreneurial spirit
